About The Position

The Porter - Sales position at Lake Norman Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Cornelius, NC is a full-time role focused on maintaining the vehicle lot and showroom, ensuring vehicles are clean and presentable, and assisting with vehicle movement and preparation. Requirements

• Must be energetic and able to walk at a fast pace and stand for 8 hours a day
• Must be a self-starter with excellent attention to detail
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Must be deemed insurable to drive by Parks Chevrolet insurance company
• Valid driver's license
• Must be able to drive a straight shift and able to drive larger commercial vehicles such as box trucks
• Ability to use hand and power tools when needed
• Must be able to stand and walk 8 hours a day
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds by self - more than 50 with assistance
• Must be able to tolerate harsh weather conditions: excessive heat and excessive cold
• Must be able and willing to spend most day outdoors

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Keep vehicle lot neat and orderly
• Move units as directed by the Inventory Manager or Sales Manager in accordance to dealership display standards
• Ensure all vehicles are clean and in good repair on the lot and in the showroom
• Ensure all window stickers are properly placed on newly arrived vehicles for display on the lot or sales floor
• Check in new/used vehicles from shipping trucks
• Create key tags, packs and other related items
• Assist with other duties as needed
