About The Position

Tom's Truck Center is a full-service commercial truck dealership serving Southern California for decades. We specialize in new and used trucks, parts, and service, supporting businesses that keep goods moving every day. We are seeking a reliable Porter/Driver to assist with transporting, preparing, and delivering commercial trucks. This position supports inventory management, vehicle deliveries, lot organization, and customer demonstrations.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Strong attention to detail and customer service skills.
• Ability to work outdoors and perform physical tasks.

Nice To Haves

• Experience driving commercial vehicles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport trucks to customers, vendors, auctions, and other locations.
• Deliver vehicles and provide basic operational demonstrations.
• Prepare, clean, fuel, and inspect vehicles for sale and delivery.
• Assist with inventory counts and lot organization.
• Coordinate trade-in and auction vehicle pickups.
• Obtain vehicle weight certificates and required documentation.
• Maintain vehicle appearance and lot cleanliness.
