About The Position
Fifth Gear Automotive is a nationally ranked, family-owned independent dealer alternative auto repair company with 10 locations across the DFW area. Their continued growth has created an opportunity for a dependable and motivated Driver/Porter to join their team. As a Driver/Porter, you will play a key role in supporting the daily operations of the shop. This position involves safely transporting customer vehicles, maintaining organization within the facility, and assisting the team in delivering a smooth and professional service experience. This is a great opportunity for someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a team-driven environment.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license (required)
- Clean driving record for the past 2 years (required)
- Strong attention to safety and detail
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of 2 years of driving experience (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Safely transport customer vehicles to and from designated locations
- Assist with vehicle pick-up and delivery while maintaining excellent customer service
- Keep shop, parking areas, and vehicle storage areas clean and organized
- Support service advisors and technicians with daily operational tasks
- Perform basic vehicle inspections and note any visible issues
- Ensure all vehicles are handled with care and professionalism
