About The Position

PSI Environmental Systems, a Waste Connections company, is looking to hire for a Portable Restroom Driver at our site located in Twin Falls, ID. This is a sought-after, long-term career with real purpose, offering competitive pay, full family benefits, and unmatched job security in an essential service the community depends on every day. The schedule is 5 days a week, starting at 6:00 am, with an ending time generally 8-10 hours later, depending on route completion. Weekends are required during busy summer months. This role is not a stepping stone but a stable career with early morning schedules and holidays off.

Requirements

  • Valid Driver's license with a Clean Driving Record.
  • Ability to Drive Manual Transmission.
  • Must pass criminal background check, drug panel screening, and motor vehicle report to be eligible for employment.
  • Ability to obtain Class B CDL within 6 months if required.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
  • Ability to work a physically demanding job.
  • Ability to read, write and comprehend reports to complete daily assignments in English.

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years experience in any of the following: Outdoor Labor, Non-CDL box truck, vac truck, or company vehicle driving experience.
  • Hands on septic, plumbing, janitorial, or similarly related experience.

Responsibilities

  • Drive a truck on specified routes to deliver and remove portable restrooms.
  • Mechanically collect waste and transport it to appropriate disposal sites.
  • Safely, efficiently, and courteously serve customers.
  • Complete pre and post trip inspections on vehicles.
  • Load and unload portable toilets with lift gate (portable toilets weigh 185lbs).
  • Maneuver portable toilets on and off lift gate as well as for placement, using leveraging equipment when possible such as a dolly.
  • Clean portable toilets: carry and hold hose while pumping (hose weighs approximately 15lbs).
  • Use sprayer to spray out the portable toilets.
  • Read route sheets and service each customer as identified on the sheet or assigned by the dispatcher.
  • Monitor and maintain the physical appearance of the equipment.
  • Clean, service, and restock up to 50 units per day.
  • Follow safe operating practices.
  • Perform routine inspection and maintenance on vehicles such as checking fluids, safety equipment, and tires.
  • Load and unload cans with no helpers.
