About The Position

Neurocare, a leader in sleep medicine since 1988, is seeking a Part-Time Portable Device Tech for its Milford location. This role is crucial to the Home Sleep Testing department, focusing on educating and instructing patients on the use of home sleep testing devices. The position offers paid training, no prior experience necessary, and is a daytime role working 20-24 hours per week.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year experience in a customer service, clinical, or patient-facing role.
• Strong verbal communication and patient education skills.
• Strong computer skills required (Microsoft Office); Ability to learn new software quickly
• Organized and detail oriented.
• Dependability, enthusiasm and professionalism.
• Ability to multi-task and problem solve.
• Confident working independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrated reliability, organization, and ability to meet daily targets.

Responsibilities

• Program and prepare HST devices in alignment with established clinical protocols.
• Conduct patient “teaches,” including device application instruction, troubleshooting guidance, and return expectations.
• Upload, review, and verify study data; escalate unscorable or incomplete studies per workflow.
• Clean, disinfect, recharge, and inventory HST devices and associated supplies.
• Assist in monitoring and reducing unreturned device rates.
• Accurately document all device and patient interactions in the EMR/platform.
• Support ongoing quality assurance initiatives within the HST Program.
