Portable Chiller Assembler
About The Position

As an ISO 9001 certified manufacturer, Thermal Care provides heat transfer equipment for over 50 industries and specializes in meeting the specific needs of our customers by offering both standard and custom designed industrial process cooling solutions. The Portable Chiller Assembler assembles all variety of portable chillers to include 1 – 14-ton EQ, SQ, and NQ portables, Basic Ink and Sub-Assemblies, 15-50ton portables, custom and special portables.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Accurately interpret schematics and blueprints
- Must know how to Braze copper efficiently without leaks
- Bend pipe within required specifications
- Troubleshoot assembly issues
- Basic knowledge of refrigeration
- Must be legally able to work in the United States
- Must have a positive attitude and foster a continuous improvement environment
Responsibilities
- Assemble portable chillers per drawings, schematics, and technical data efficiently
- Trouble shoot design and assembly issues
- Interact with members of other departments to improve processes and designs
- Brazing Coper over 0.875 or larger diameter
- Pipefitting
