About The Position

Central Tech is seeking experienced Chiller Technicians to service, maintain, repair, and overhaul large tonnage chiller systems that range in size from 100 to 3750 tons (manufactured by: Carrier, McQuay, Trane, and York). This role offers the opportunity to work with a company that invests in technician development through specialized manufacturer training and join a growing team servicing high-quality equipment across multiple industries. Central Tech Services (CTS), A Fidelity Company, are experts in central plant chiller services, overhauls, and upgrades of all brands, including Carrier, Daikin/McQuay, Trane, and York. We work closely with property managers and building owners specializing in healthcare/hospitals, biotech, defense, hospitality, and manufacturing facilities. CTS focuses primarily on Maintenance, Repairs, System Overhauls, and Optimization of Large Tonnage Chiller Systems. Our central plant chillers under contract range in size from 100 to 3750 tons.

Requirements

5–10 years of commercial/industrial HVAC/R experience (preferred)
Experience working with: Centrifugal chillers, Screw chillers, Reciprocating chillers
Universal Refrigerant Certification
Journeyman License
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
Excellent customer service skills
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to pass a drug screen and background check

Responsibilities

Service, maintain, repair, and overhaul large tonnage chiller systems (100–3750 tons)
Work on equipment from major manufacturers including Carrier, McQuay, Trane, and York
Perform preventative maintenance, system overhauls, emergency repairs, refrigerant conversions, installation of new equipment, and ASHRAE-15 plant upgrades
Support clients across industries including: Hospitals, Biotech, Defense, Hotels, Retail, Industrial manufacturing, Property management
