About The Position
This is a seasonal/stipend extracurricular position for the 2026-2027 school year at the Gloucester Township Campus. The primary goal is to operate a Daktronics Timing System during swim meets, maintaining accurate scores and times, and providing this information to officials and coaches. In emergency situations, the operator will also act as a lifeguard. This position is non-tenurable and ineligible for health, dental, or board-paid insurance benefits.
Requirements
- A valid Red Cross Lifeguarding certificate.
- A valid AED/CPR certificate.
- Knowledge of operating a Colorado Timing System.
- Knowledge of NJSIAA Swimming rules.
- Successfully undergo a criminal history check.
- Proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.
- Meets the health qualifications required of all personnel.
- Meets NJ residency requirements or willingness to relocate to NJ within 365 days of employment.
- Must follow the guidelines of the Camden County Technical Schools’ Nepotism Policy, File Code: 0142.1.
Responsibilities
- Operate a Daktronics Timing System during swim meets.
- Maintain score and time throughout the swim meet.
- Provide score and time information to officials and coaches.
- Act as a lifeguard in an emergency situation.
