Join our Resort Operations team as a Pool Technician and play a critical role in delivering a safe, clean, and enjoyable water experience for our guests. As a Pool Technician, you�ll be responsible for maintaining resort pools, spas, and water features while ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations. Your expertise will directly impact guest satisfaction and overall resort operations.
Requirements
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification required
- Strong knowledge of pool systems, equipment, and water chemistry
- Familiarity with local and state health department regulations
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Must be flexible to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as a Pool Technician or similar role preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform daily inspections, cleaning, and maintenance of pools, spas, and water features
- Test and balance water chemistry, including chlorine, pH, alkalinity, and calcium levels
- Maintain accurate logs of water testing, chemical usage, and maintenance activities
- Operate, inspect, and maintain pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and automation systems
- Identify safety concerns or equipment issues and perform minor repairs as needed
- Ensure all pool areas meet health, safety, and cleanliness standards
- Respond promptly and professionally to pool-related guest concerns or incidents
- Assist with pool openings, closures, and seasonal maintenance
- Follow all safety protocols and resort policies
- Collaborate with maintenance, housekeeping, and resort operations teams
- Perform additional duties as assigned
