We have an opportunity for a Pool Technical Service Representative to join our Charlotte, NC team. You will partner closely with customers, service technicians, and internal teams to diagnose issues, coordinate solutions, and ensure timely, accurate resolution—driving customer confidence, equipment reliability, and service excellence.

Requirements

  • Strong customer service skills required
  • Background in technical field work with Pentair pool products is highly desired
  • HVAC experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience working with CRM and ERP systems (Salesforce preferred)
  • Must be able to multi-task, have great computer skills, and be able to work within several different software applications at once
  • Ability to go into the office when needed for training or events (otherwise work is remote)

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for equipment-related inquiries, troubleshooting, and service support within our Pool Division.
  • Diagnose equipment issues using technical documentation, system data, and customer input and assist customers and field technicians with setup, operation, maintenance, and repair guidance.
  • Schedule supporting service visits and follow up on open service cases to resolution.
  • Process parts orders, warranty claims, returns (RMAs), and service documentation as required.
  • Communicate clearly with customers regarding service status, timelines, and next steps, and collaborate with internal teams including production, engineering, shipping, quality, and sales to resolve issues.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation within CRM and ERP system.
  • Participate in ongoing technical and product training to stay current on equipment updates and procedures.
