About The Position
Poolwerx Redlands is seeking dependable, motivated individuals eager to learn a skilled trade and build a career in the swimming pool and spa service industry. No prior pool experience is necessary, as comprehensive training will be provided. For 42 years, Poolwerx Redlands has prioritized client care and ethical practices. Experienced professionals will train new hires on safe and professional pool and spa maintenance. The role includes a three-month paid training program, Monday through Friday, at $20.00 per hour, covering essential skills such as cleaning techniques, water chemistry, chemical handling, equipment basics, filter maintenance, troubleshooting, customer service, route management, and vehicle/equipment care. The ultimate goal is to develop technicians into professionals.
Requirements
- A minimum of five years of driving experience and a good driving record
- A strong work ethic
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A commitment to learning from experienced pool professionals
- Pride in doing a job correctly and taking care of customers
- A professional appearance and good personal hygiene
- The willingness to properly care for and maintain an assigned company vehicle, tools, and equipment
- Pass pre-employment background checks and drug testing
