About The Position

The Pool Monitor is responsible for all activities in and around the pool area. Also, will be working in conjunction with the recreation staff; making sure all children are safe at all times. The Pool Monitor must be swift and very observant while on duty.

Requirements

  • Demonstrate ability and knowledge to work with youth implementing property rules and guidelines.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification in CPR and First Aid preferred

Responsibilities

  • Monitor pool area, keep it safe and clean.
  • Monitor must make sure everyone signs the sign-in sheets
  • Monitor and make sure no one is in the pool under the age of (14)
  • Report all problems to recreation supervisor.
  • Monitor restrooms often.
  • Clean pool area, pick any debris, clothing, or other items left behind
  • Assist and work with other staff members for special events
  • Work in recreation room when raining, assist with the game room activities.
  • Enforce all facility rules.
