POSITION SUMMARY: The Pool Monitor is responsible for a clean and safe amenity environment for our residents to enjoy. This is a part-time temporary position.

Requirements

  • Ability to control a crowd.
  • Demonstrate mature and responsible judgment and decision making.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively and resolve conflict.
  • A personal cell phone is required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 2 years of swimming pool maintenance is preferred.
  • CPR/First Aid certification is required.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that residents are using their lanyards to enter the pool area.
  • Make sure that there is only one guest per occupant of each home
  • Make sure that each resident and guest sign a liability waiver form before entering.
  • Make sure that all participants are obeying pool rules posted in the pool area.
  • In the event there is a disruption, the Pool Monitor calls 911 to get the police to respond to situations that escalate beyond normal corrective requests.
  • Skim debris from the pool.
  • Lock up the pool area at closing time each evening.
  • Remove trash from the pool area.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
