POSITION SUMMARY: The Pool Monitor is responsible for a clean and safe amenity environment for our residents to enjoy. This is a part-time temporary position.

Requirements

Ability to control a crowd.
Demonstrate mature and responsible judgment and decision making.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively and resolve conflict.
A personal cell phone is required.
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
2 years of swimming pool maintenance is preferred.
CPR/First Aid certification is required.

Responsibilities

Ensure that residents are using their lanyards to enter the pool area.
Make sure that there is only one guest per occupant of each home
Make sure that each resident and guest sign a liability waiver form before entering.
Make sure that all participants are obeying pool rules posted in the pool area.
In the event there is a disruption, the Pool Monitor calls 911 to get the police to respond to situations that escalate beyond normal corrective requests.
Skim debris from the pool.
Lock up the pool area at closing time each evening.
Remove trash from the pool area.
Perform other duties as assigned.
