About The Position

This part-time Pool Mixologist role focuses on providing exceptional beverage service and creating a memorable guest experience. The position requires expertise in mixology, adherence to high service standards, and efficient bar operations. The ideal candidate will be at least 21 years old with a passion for crafting quality beverages and engaging with guests.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• 1+ year of experience as a Mixologist or in a related role.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from various groups.
• Proficiency in basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, as well as calculating rate, ratio, and percentage.
• Ability to draw and interpret bar graphs.
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with guests, staff, and colleagues, and resolve conflicts diplomatically.
• Ability to read and communicate verbally in English.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Nice To Haves

• Spanish and/or Tagalog language skills are highly preferred.
• Ability to earn and maintain Gaming License.
• Ability to earn and maintain TiPS certification.
• Ability to earn and maintain Food Handlers certification.
• Ability to earn and maintain RBS Certification within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks, to high standards of quality and presentation.
• Engage with guests to provide personalized recommendations and ensure a memorable experience.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems.
• Demonstrate expert knowledge of spirits, cocktails, wine, and beer, including preparation and pairings.
• Create specialty cocktails and contribute to menu development.
• Collaborate with servers, barbacks, and management to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist with special events, private functions, and promotional activities.
• Uphold AAA Four Diamond service standards in all guest interactions.
