Full Time Pool Maintenance Technician
About The Position
America’s Swimming Pool Company (ASP) of Central Houston is seeking a reliable, dedicated, team player, and problem solver to join their team of swimming pool professionals as a Pool Maintenance Technician. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, enjoy working outdoors in varying conditions, and be able to work both independently and as part of a team. This role requires integrity and a commitment to providing "5-Star Resort-Quality Service" to every customer. The position averages 30-40 hours per week, with competitive compensation, potential bonus pay, and/or incentive pay based on performance and meeting goals.
Requirements
- Enjoy working outdoors at all times of the year, particularly in Houston’s varying conditions.
- Hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Be able to lift up to 100 lbs.
- Agree to a background check and drug screen.
- Have earned at least a high school diploma or equivalent.
Nice To Haves
- Certified Pool Operator License is valued but not required.
Responsibilities
- Manage a swimming pool route that includes the cleaning of residential and commercial swimming pools each week.
- Maintain regular stock of tools and chemicals on the company issued truck and properly adjust the water chemistry for each pool.
- Utilize a smart phone for the pool management mobile platform.
- Identify and communicate issues and solutions to customers, office/support team members, and/or leadership.
