Pool Technician - Full Time

About The Position

Schedule: Sunday - Thursday 6:30AM - 3:00PM.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Certified Pool Operation certification (can acquire once hired).
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Must have the ability to lift a minimum of 75lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Performs routine maintenance of filters, pumps, heaters, and other mechanical equipment related to operation of swimming pools and hot tubs according to established schedules.
  • Insures that routine back washing of filters is performed on scheduled basis.
  • Inspects pools and equipment rooms are operating efficiently.
  • Insures that all water chemistry testing is performed and up to set standards.
  • Apply chemicals to balance pools as necessary.
  • Maintains and makes repairs to equipment used in the course of work.
  • Brushes and vacuums pool keeping debris, bacterial growth, and marks off of floor and walls.
  • Maintains daily pool records as required for Health Department. Reports safety and fire hazards.
  • Establishes helpful relationship with members and agencies in the community.
