About The Position
We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Pool Maintenance Technician to service and maintain residential and/or commercial swimming pools. The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, comfortable working outdoors, and able to provide professional service to customers. This is a full-time position working Thursday through Sunday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. The pay rate is $21. Applicants should live within 30 minutes of the East Fort Lauderdale area.
Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain swimming pools on a scheduled route.
- Skim debris and clean pool surfaces.
- Brush walls, steps, and tile lines.
- Vacuum pools as needed.
- Empty skimmer and pump baskets.
- Clean and inspect pool filters.
- Test pool water and maintain proper chemical balance.
- Add chlorine, acid, salt, and other pool chemicals as needed.
- Inspect pumps, filters, valves, and other pool equipment.
- Identify leaks, equipment problems, or unsafe conditions and report them.
- Keep accurate records of completed pool services.
- Maintain pool-cleaning equipment, tools, and company vehicle.
- Communicate professionally with customers.
- Follow proper procedures when handling pool chemicals.
