About The Position

At Fairmont Scottsdale Princess, ensuring the safety and well-being of our Colleagues, guests and visitors is an integral part of our operations. As a Pool Technician your attentiveness, efficiency and commitment will ensure our hotel remains a safe, enjoyable workplace and travel destination.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 years experience as a Pool Technician
• Adhere to Fairmont Scottsdale Princess Grooming Guidelines. Guidelines
• Must have electrical, plumbing and basic maintenance skills
• Must be able to read, write & speak English fluently

Nice To Haves

• CPO Qualification preferred
• Previous experience in a maintenance role preferred
• Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications not required but helpful

Responsibilities

• Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service.
• Clean pools, scrub the tile and clean skimmer baskets.
• Test pool chemical levels and make adjustments when needed.
• Pool equipment and plumbing repairs
• Mechanical pool equipment repairs (pumps and motors)
• Check automatic pool controllers daily and record readings
• Assists guests needs when asked
• Follow department policies, procedures and service standards
• Follow safety procedures
• Other duties as assigned
