About The Position

Stanly Ranch, Auberge Collection is seeking a Pool Food Runner for a seasonal position. This role is crucial for ensuring smooth communication between the kitchen and front-of-house teams, accurate order fulfillment, and an exceptional guest dining experience. The ideal candidate will assist servers, bartenders, and guests, ensuring timely delivery of orders and maintaining high service standards. This position involves operating and cleaning restaurant equipment, maintaining the tidiness of the expediting area, and ensuring food safety standards are met.

Requirements

  • Current Food Handler's Card (within 30 Days of Hire)
  • RBS - Alcohol Training Certification Required (within 30 Days of Hire)
  • Must be of minimum age to serve alcohol
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, according to department needs.
  • Ability to communicate in English.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in customer service or a similar role, in a luxury setting, is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure communication in the kitchen between the front of house and back of house teams by calling out orders, getting the status on dishes, and calling the waitstaff to serve completed dishes.
  • Ensure that all orders are completed accurately, in time, and with the correct priority.
  • Perform the finishing touches to completed dishes, such as adding garnishes and removing smudges.
  • Assisting servers, bartenders, and guests in the dining experience, taking orders and delivering requested items in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Relate with guests about needs, satisfaction with the beverage and drinks, ensuring a consistently caring and high-quality service.
  • Operate, maintain and properly clean all restaurant equipment and fittings.
  • Ensure that the expediting area and restaurant outlets are tidy, organized, and well stocked at all times.
  • Ensure food is served in accordance with safety standards (e.g. proper temperature).
  • Check in with guests upon delivery of dishes and ensure they have everything they need, as needed.
