About The Position

Pentair is hiring a Pool Field Service Technician for its Thonotosassa, Florida team. This field-based role maintains and repairs swimming pool heat pumps in residential and commercial applications, helping meet customer demand and support the growth of the business. The technician performs routine maintenance, diagnoses and repairs electrical and mechanical faults, troubleshoots system problems, communicates with clients about service needs and care, documents service activity, and follows safety protocols. The role involves frequent travel to client locations within the service area and physically demanding work, including lifting heavy equipment and working in varied weather conditions.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 2 years of experience in HVAC or pool equipment maintenance and repair.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Technical knowledge of heat pump systems.
Excellent customer service abilities.
Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in various weather conditions, and perform physically demanding tasks.
Ability to travel frequently to client locations within the service area.

Nice To Haves

Technical training in HVAC or a related field.
Relevant certifications in HVAC or pool equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities
