About The Position

Pentair is hiring a Pool Field Service Technician for its Thonotosassa, Florida team. The field-based role maintains and repairs swimming pool heat pumps in residential and commercial applications, supporting customer demand and the growth of the business. The position is full-time with flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed, and frequent travel to client locations within the service area. The hourly pay range is $30.00–$34.00, with an opportunity for a rate increase after proficiency in certain skills and completion of training. Actual pay may vary based on factors including achievements, skills, and experience.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 2 years of experience in HVAC or pool equipment maintenance and repair.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Technical knowledge of heat pump systems.
Excellent customer service abilities.
Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in various weather conditions, and perform physically demanding tasks.
Travel frequently to client locations within the service area.

Nice To Haves

Technical training in HVAC or a related field.
Relevant certifications in HVAC or pool equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities

Perform routine heat pump maintenance, including cleaning, testing, and adjusting components.
Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults in heat pumps.
