Pool Field Sampler
About The Position
ALS is seeking a Pool Sampling Position to join their team. This role involves sampling pools and spas at public facilities such as hotels, condos, and township pools. The job requires driving to various facilities, sampling pool or spa water for pH and residual chlorine in the field, and collecting bacteria samples for laboratory analysis. Samples must be returned to the lab within strict timeframes: 7 hours for pool samples and 5 hours for spa samples. A pre-planned schedule and route will be provided. The position is available from May 6th through August 31st, with training during the first two weeks of May.
Requirements

- A valid clean driver's license
- Availability from May 6th through August 31st
- Ability to attend training during the first and second week of May
- Must be a Citizen or Permanent Resident of the country you are applying for, or either hold or be able to obtain, a valid working visa.
Responsibilities
- Sampling pools and spas at public facilities.
- Driving to different facilities to collect samples.
- Sampling pool or spa water for pH and residual chlorine in the field.
- Pulling bacteria samples to be analyzed for Total Coliform Bacteria, Pseudomonas Bacteria, and Standard Plate Count Bacteria.
- Ensuring timely delivery of samples to the lab within specified hours (7 hours for pool, 5 hours for spa).
