About The Position

Pyramid Global Hospitality is hiring a Pool Engineer for OKANA Resort and Indoor WaterPark in Oklahoma City. The role performs a variety of maintenance trade functions, including installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and building systems, as well as HVAC work, painting, wall repair, tile work, and upkeep of the resort's preventative maintenance program. The engineer works with other team members and is expected to be responsive, detail-oriented, and welcoming while helping provide an exceptional guest experience.

Requirements

• Experience in a maintenance role at a hotel or resort.
• Knowledge of household repairs, including carpentry, electrical, and plumbing work.
• Engaging and welcoming personality.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for creating an exceptional experience for guests.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Availability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to walk, stand, reach, crouch, bend, and push or pull throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance on building and facility mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Perform electrical repairs on appliances, house wiring, air-conditioning systems, switches, fixtures, and motors.
• Repair plumbing fixtures, piping, drains, and sanitary systems.
• Repair woodwork, wall vinyl, doors, windows, carpeting, and related items.
• Perform general mechanical maintenance on pumps, compressors, water heaters, automotive equipment, and miscellaneous equipment.
• Maintain records and logs of completed tasks in accordance with company policy and procedures.
• Prepare reports as requested by supervisors and submit requested reports and logs in a timely manner.
• Maintain the resort or hotel's preventative maintenance program.
