About The Position

Hope Valley Country Club is looking for energetic, team-oriented individuals to join our Pool Cabana team as Bartenders for the upcoming season! This is a fast-paced, outdoor position where you’ll be working in the sun, staying active, and creating a fun, welcoming atmosphere for our members and their guests.

Requirements

• Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages (May vary by state)
• Must have all certifications and licenses as required by local Health Department and Alcoholic Beverage Commission statutes
• Ability to enforce company policies and laws and regulations regarding consumption of alcohol.
• Walk, sit, stand for long periods of time, bend, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear, stoop, kneel, crouch, close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
• Lift up to 25 lbs. regularly; up to 50 lbs. occasionally and to lift overhead and push/pull, move lighter objects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
• Take food and drink orders at the bar and while walking the pool deck
• Deliver food and beverages to members in a timely and friendly manner
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked cabana area
• Work closely with your teammates to create a positive and enjoyable environment
