About The Position

We are looking for a Pool & Beach Server Assistant to join the re-opening of the famed Delano Miami Beach. Set to open its doors in early 2026, Delano Miami Beach will fuse historic charm with contemporary luxury, reflecting a reimagined experience that pays homage to the original visionary concept. Comprising 171 rooms and distinct food and beverage concepts, the hotel will preserve its iconic walk-in pool and, in addition, unveil a new pool on an amenity deck, offering breathtaking views of the ocean. Delano Miami Beach will act as the brand’s flagship location, re-establishing Delano as a trailblazer in luxury lifestyle hospitality. Ennismore, in partnership with Cain International (the owners of Delano Miami Beach as well as partner in the Delano brand), are currently undertaking a significant renovation and redevelopment of the iconic Delano hotel.

Requirements

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, carry multiple items, and stay organized during busy service.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills, with a professional, guest-focused attitude.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction, respond to requests, and handle basic complaints or issues professionally.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas, including clearing dishes, wiping/disinfecting tables.
  • Set up, restock, and break down service stations, including napkins, menus, condiments, and service supplies.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced outdoor environment and work well in a team.
  • Physically able to carry trays, walk on sand and wet surfaces, and lift around 20–25 lbs as needed.
  • Requires flexible availability including weekends, holidays, and peak seasons or resort high periods.

Responsibilities

  • Clear and reset tables by removing used plates, glassware, and utensils, then wiping and re‑setting with clean tableware and condiments.
  • Run food and beverages from the kitchen or bar to guests’ tables, ensuring items go to the correct guests.
  • Refill water and other non-alcoholic beverages and assist with bread or complimentary items as directed by the server.
  • Greet guests warmly when appropriate and respond to simple requests, such as extra napkins, cutlery, or condiments.
  • Alert the server or a supervisor promptly if guests express complaints or special concerns.
  • Keep server stations stocked with plates, glassware, cutlery, napkins, and other service items to support fast, efficient service.
  • Assist with general cleaning tasks such as polishing glassware and silverware, removing trash, and following opening/closing side work checklists.
  • Perform various related tasks as needed in the spirit of providing exceptional guest service.
