The Pool Bartender is responsible for delivering outstanding and personalized service to guests in the pool area, ensuring a seamless and luxurious experience.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of work experience in a similar capacity with an understanding of luxury hotel standards of service.
Ability to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to operate and maintain all departmental equipment, fully competent with POS systems.
Outstanding abilities to build and maintain relationships and a regular client base.
Demonstrated ability to make a naturally positive, lasting impression.
Brilliant at recognizing and welcoming regular guests.
In-depth knowledge of all standard mixed drinks, shots, wine, beer, different levels of spirits, and any other beverage available at the bar.
Fluent in English.
Ability to reach, bend, balance and transport various objects weighing up to 50 lbs. repeatedly during a shift.
Frequent heat exposure, standing, talking, walking.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and professionally, provide menu suggestions, and ensure a personal and memorable experience.
Prepare and mix drinks, serve them at the bar, and fulfill orders from servers.
Monitor guest needs, proactively offer refills, additional services, or special promotions.
Process guest orders through the POS system, ensuring accurate billing and adherence to cash/credit handling policies.
Collaborate with other pool servers, bartenders, kitchen staff, and other departments for efficient service.
Ensure safety protocols are followed, including poolside safety and compliance with alcohol service regulations (ID verification, responsible service).
Assist with maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking supplies and managing inventory.
