About The Position

The Pool Bartender is responsible for providing the highest quality service to guests and servers and maintaining the Silverado Resort Standards of cleanliness and sanitation while following the requirements at the Pool. This role requires adherence to the company's service culture, active participation in team member referral programs, and attendance at all resort-required meetings and trainings. The position also involves maintaining high standards of personal appearance and grooming, setting up the bar, preparing and serving beverages, and breaking down the bar after functions. The bartender must follow all state liquor laws, be knowledgeable about resort services, and handle intoxicated guests appropriately. Ensuring the cleanliness and tidiness of the bar and service areas, and achieving overall guest satisfaction are key aspects of this role. The employee must also abide by all resort policies and safety rules and perform other duties as requested by management.

Requirements

  • Experience working as a bartender is a must.
  • In compliance with California laws, Responsible Beverage Service and Food Handlers Certification are required.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to the company’s Service culture – 4 Keys to creating guests for life.
  • Actively participate in team member referral program and be a Talent Ambassador for Silverado Resort.
  • Participate in all resort required meetings and trainings.
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform/business attire and nametag.
  • Set up the bar according to resort/pool standards and ensure that guests are served promptly and efficiently.
  • Prepare beverages and cocktails according to the resort’s mixing and presentation standards.
  • Serve guests with all beverage requirements in a friendly, courteous and professional manner.
  • Break down bar after the completion of functions, storing liquor, supplies and equipment according to the resort’s standards.
  • Follow all state liquor laws.
  • Know resort services and facilities.
  • Follow prescribed procedures in serving liquor with care to avoid problems with intoxicated guests.
  • Be familiar with all fire exit locations and fire extinguisher locations and know how to operate.
  • Ensure that the bar and service areas are kept clean and tidy during service.
  • Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
  • Abide by all resort policies and safety rules.
  • Perform other duties as requested by management.
