This position involves completing opening and closing duties, including setting up supplies and tools, cleaning equipment and areas, and securing the premises. The attendant will stock and maintain work areas, including ice, glassware, and paper supplies, and remove soiled wares from the bar and tables. Maintaining the cleanliness and condition of work areas, the bar, and related equipment according to set-up guidelines is crucial. The role also requires adherence to company safety and security policies, reporting any accidents or unsafe conditions, and completing safety training. A professional appearance and demeanor are expected, along with maintaining confidentiality and protecting company assets. The attendant must welcome and assist guests according to company standards, anticipate their needs, and provide service with genuine appreciation. Clear communication and positive working relationships with colleagues are essential, as is supporting team goals and meeting quality standards. The job requires reading various formats, standing or walking for extended periods, and performing physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and manipulating objects up to 50 pounds. Fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and the ability to navigate uneven surfaces and stairs are also necessary. Reasonable additional duties may be assigned by supervisors.
