About The Position
Verdana Village, located in Estero, FL, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Pool Attendant! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you’ll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management. The Pool Attendant is responsible for promoting water safety among guests using the pool. Maintain the pool, spa, and pool deck.
Requirements
- The ability to swim is highly desirable
- Prior experience in a related position is helpful.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- The ability to work in a busy, fast-paced environment.
- Must convey a positive and “can-do” attitude at all times, including during high-stressful situations.
- Must be able communicate effectively with other team members and guests.
Responsibilities
- Welcoming and Greeting residents.
- Approach all encounters with members, guests, and team members in an attentive, friendly, courteous manner.
- Asks members for a membership card to ensure non-members are not using the pool – when applicable
- Set up umbrellas and the cabanas; neatly arrange all pool furniture.
- Ensure residents are complying with Association Rules and Regulations;
- Report any malfunction immediately to Supervisor
- Ensures the area is clean of trash and debris
- Empties trash containers on the pool deck throughout the day, as needed. The trash containers should be emptied and the umbrellas lowered before leaving at the end of each shift.
