About The Position

Pool Attendants are responsible for ensuring the overall satisfaction of our guest's pool experience by providing a warm greeting upon arrival, distributing towels, offering assistance with seating, and displaying excellent guest service. They also maintain and monitor day pass /cabana reservations. FULL TIME & PART TIME AVAILABLE! All duties are to be performed in accordance with Sunseeker Resorts, departmental and property policies, practices, and procedures.

Requirements

  • Minimum age requirement 18 years of age
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent; letter of recommendation for high school seniors
  • Minimum of one (1) year customer service experience
  • Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral form.
  • Must be detail oriented, have high standards, and able to work independently.
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to work outside in hot, humid, and wet conditions
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to function well under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet established deadlines.
  • Must possess mature personal discretion and sound judgment
  • Excellent organizational skills with particular attention to quality and detail
  • Interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all staff and guest contacts
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Candidates will need to be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986.

Responsibilities

  • Meet and greet all guests in a timely manner as they enter the pool area.
  • Check-in pool guests and include wrist bands and towel distribution.
  • Assist guests with seating as needed.
  • Fulfill all pool & cabana guest requests in a timely manner.
  • Ensure pools are continually kept in a "show room" fashion, always presentable.
  • Collect and replenish pool towels and monitor inventory to minimize loss.
  • Maintain pool deck equipment including, but not limited to, umbrellas, tables, rafts, etc.
  • Maintain and monitor day pass /cabana reservations.
  • Maintain cleanliness of pool facility including, but not limited to, furniture, tables, decks, pool tiles, walkways and cabanas.
  • Remove trash and other items from the pool deck and restrooms.
  • Set up and break down pool area by stacking chairs, un-stacking chairs, straightening chairs, and rolling towel bins.
  • Maintain attentiveness to environment in the pool facility to ensure guest enjoyment.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of pool facility and services by answering guest questions and fulfilling guest needs.
  • Embrace teamwork, create a positive work environment, warmly interact with fellow team members and thank them when they lend assistance.
  • Follow company customer service standards to ensure the highest level of service.
