About The Position

Our Pool Attendants support recreation and pool operations by maintaining pool deck cleanliness, managing towel and equipment distribution, and assisting guests with general needs. The Pool Attendant also plays a key role in creating a relaxing and enjoyable environment, ensuring safety standards are followed while delivering courteous and proactive service. A strong commitment to our Spirit of Service culture and Hilton Values is expected in all interactions with guests and team members.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • 1+ years of related experience
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to interact professionally and courteously with guests and team members.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining awareness of guest activity and safety.
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in a fast‑paced outdoor environment.
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and enforce pool rules appropriately.
  • Possess professional communication skills to interact with guests and team members.
  • Ability to perform routine physical tasks, including lifting, moving equipment, and working outdoors.
  • Ability to maintain a professional appearance consistent with a luxury hospitality environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Associates Degree/College Diploma
  • 1+ years of related experience
  • 1+ years of supervisory experience
  • CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain
  • Prior hospitality or customer service experience.
  • Previous bellperson or doorman experience.
  • Experience in a resort, hotel, or luxury environment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of pool areas, including decks, furniture, and surrounding spaces, ensuring a well presented environment.
  • Monitor pool areas to ensure guest safety and enforce pool rules and regulations.
  • Distribute, collect, and manage pool towels, ensuring adequate stock and maintaining organization of towel areas.
  • Assist guests with requests, including seating, directions, and general resort information.
  • Set up and maintain pool furniture, umbrellas, and equipment for guest use.
  • Rent and distribute recreation equipment and track usage as required.
  • Support recreational programs and activities as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas, storage spaces, and equipment.
  • Monitor inventory of towels, supplies, and equipment and report shortages or needs.
  • Report any safety hazards, maintenance issues, or concerns to appropriate departments promptly.
  • Assist with light administrative or operational tasks as needed (e.g., towel desk, basic transactions if applicable).
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and pool regulations.
  • Promote a welcoming, relaxed, and guest focused environment.

  • Completes all required Company training/compliance courses as assigned.
