About The Position

Our Bellperson team members support Front Office operations by assisting guests with luggage, directions, and service requests, ensuring a smooth and welcoming arrival and departure experience. The Bellperson serves as a visible ambassador of the property, offering courteous and proactive assistance while maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and presentation of guest arrival areas. A strong commitment to our Spirit of Service culture and Hilton Values is expected in all interactions with guests and team members.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • 1+ years of related experience
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to interact professionally and courteously with guests and team members.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and provide directions or information effectively.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional when handling guest concerns or requests.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, guest facing environment.
  • Ability to safely lift, carry, and transport luggage and equipment weighing a maximum of 75 lbs.
  • Ability to grasp, lift and/or carry, or otherwise move or push packages, bags and luggage on a hand truck/cart or other wheeled assistance weighing a maximum of 500 lbs.
  • Ability to maintain a professional appearance consistent with a luxury hospitality environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's Degree/College Diploma
  • 2+ years of related experience
  • 1+ years of supervisory experience
  • Prior hospitality or customer service experience.
  • Previous bellperson or doorman experience.
  • Experience in a resort, hotel, or luxury environment.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests and owners upon arrival and departure with a warm and professional demeanor, assisting with luggage and transportation needs.
  • Escort guests to rooms, providing orientation to room features, amenities, and resort services.
  • Deliver luggage, packages, and requested items in a timely and professional manner.
  • Monitor the front entrance and arrival areas, ensuring a welcoming, organized, and well‑maintained appearance.
  • Provide directions and information regarding resort amenities, services, and local attractions.
  • Assist guests with transportation needs.
  • Maintain awareness of guest activity in arrival areas and report any safety or security concerns to appropriate departments.
  • Support Front Office operations by assisting with guest requests and interdepartmental needs.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of bell stand, lobby, and entry areas.
  • Handle guest interactions, including challenging situations, with professionalism, patience, and courtesy.
  • Safely handle and transport luggage and equipment using proper lifting techniques.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Promote a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and guest focused service.
  • Embodies the Hilton Grand Vacations Values of Hospitality, Integrity, Leadership, Teamwork, Ownership, Now, Completes all required Company training/compliance courses as assigned.
  • Adheres to Company standards and maintains compliance with all policies and procedures.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
