About The Position

At Montage Deer Valley, we are looking for a passionate Pool Attendant who will be a creator of authentic, personalized experiences. This role involves ensuring the pool area is clean, organized, and stocked, providing exceptional customer service, and setting up/breaking down service cabanas. You will perform walk-throughs to maintain an impeccable environment, arrange pool furniture, and promote poolside amenities. Collaboration with other departments is key to ensuring seamless guest experiences and delivering WOW moments. Additional duties may be assigned based on business needs.

Requirements

Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
Team oriented
Basic communication skills
Grasping, holding, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending over
Ability to stand and exercise mobility for extended periods of time during your scheduled shift
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and for extended periods during the shift
Ability to push and pull food serving equipment and carts weighing up to 200 pounds on a semi - regular basis

Responsibilities

Ensure the pool area is kept clean, organized, and stocked at all times
Provide exceptional customer service to guests by greeting guests, addressing inquiries, and assisting with towels and water
Complete the set up and break down of all service cabanas as designated by management
Perform walk through of the pool area monitoring and cleaning pool decks, furniture, and restrooms to ensure an impeccable and inviting environment
Set up and arrange pool furniture, umbrellas, and other amenities to enhance guest comfort and enjoyment
Promote poolside amenities and services, such as food and beverage offerings, cabana rentals, and poolside entertainment
Collaborate with other departments, such as food and beverage, recreation, and guest services, to ensure seamless guest experiences
Deliver on guests’ expectations and have the desire to create WOW moments
Perform additional duties as assigned that may be outside of the normal scope of duties, based on business needs
