Responsibilities

Greet guests and make them feel welcome.
Perform chemical tests of the pools and balance chemicals to meet public health guidelines.
Ensure cleanliness standards are maintained in the pool area.
Communicate with the Maintenance department regarding equipment malfunctions and assist with logging for repairs.
Assist with cleaning the waterway and garden beds in the summer.
Help keep entrances free of snow and safe in the winter.
Assist reception with guest requests, such as delivering amenities.
Help with folding towels in the laundry.
Assist reception with welcoming tour bus arrivals.
Answer guest questions about the hotel and surrounding area, including directions and recommendations.
Follow company policies and reporting procedures.
Provide courteous and efficient service to guests, responding to requests, questions, or concerns.
Keep areas clean and free of hazards.
Maintain a calm and welcoming demeanor while multitasking.
Listen respectfully to guest complaints, empathize, and work towards a resolution or involve a manager if necessary.
