About The Position

Beacon Property Management is seeking to hire a Seasonal Pool Attendant for Camelot Village in Salem, VA. This is a summer job opportunity.

Must be able to monitor the pool area.
Must be able to enforce pool rules.
Must be able to perform pool maintenance tasks such as vacuuming, backwashing filters, and brushing pool sides.
Must be able to skim pool surface and clean skimmer baskets.
Must be able to record chemical levels.
Must be able to maintain bathroom cleanliness and supplies.
Must be able to address and resolve issues such as clogged toilets.
Must be able to manage garbage disposal.
Must be able to clean ash trays.
Must be able to maintain cleanliness of the pool area.

Monitor the pool area to ensure only leaseholders and occupants are granted access.
Ensure guest limits are kept to two guests per apartment.
Ensure no occupants under age of 16 access the pool without proper supervision.
Enforce the sign-in sheet to ensure all residents and guests are recorded properly.
Enforce pool rules and ask any pool guests breaking the rules to leave the pool area.
Ensure no food is eaten directly around the pool area or in the pool, but kept to designated areas.
Monitor pool guests are wearing proper garments (no full clothing) in the pool.
Vacuum pool, backwash pool filter, and brush sides of pool daily.
Skim pool surface whenever needed and clean out skimmer baskets.
Record chemical levels three times a day or as instructed.
Mop bathroom floors periodically throughout the day as needed.
Replenish bathroom supplies such as toilet paper and hand towels.
Monitor bathrooms and remove children playing in restrooms.
Address clogged toilets.
Empty garbage as needed throughout the day and place in a designated area.
Clean ash trays several times a day.
Pick up trash in and around the pool area at all times to ensure safety and cleanliness.
