Requirements

  • Must possess excellent verbal communication skills, problem-solving skills, interpersonal skills and exceptional guest service abilities
  • Ability to listen, understand and react quickly to guests requests in a genuine manner
  • Maintain a neat and professionally well-groomed appearance
  • Must have experience Bartending and cashiering
  • Must possess basic computational ability
  • Must possess basic computer skills
  • Must have knowledge of and be able to operate all equipment related to the outlet, including, but not limited to, bar equipment and cash terminal
  • Must have a strong knowledge of drink preparation and applicable health standards.
  • Knowledge of federal, state and local laws, ordinances and regulations and Warwick Melrose policy regarding serving alcohol to minors and intoxicated patrons.
  • Must be able to work outdoors
  • Required to stand and/or be in continuous motion for extended periods of time while performing job functions with physical endurance
  • Must have dependable transportation
  • Must be able to work Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays
  • High school or equivalent education required.
  • One to Three years of prior experience in working in hospitality.
  • TABC & Food Handlers License (Required)

Responsibilities

  • Greets guests with a welcoming and pleasant attitude
  • Meet guests expectations by providing anticipatory service and ensuring smooth accommodations
  • Responsible for access and control of the pool and amenity deck
  • Ensure pool rules, policies and restrictions are followed
  • Ensure that minors and intoxicated persons are not or over served alcoholic beverages
  • Monitor access throughout the shift and ensures authorized guest use only
  • Cautions guests behaving in an unsafe manner
  • Manage crowd control and report all incidents to Manager on duty immediately
  • Properly straighten patio furniture and place any left items in lost and found
  • Replenish clean towels and remove unused and dirty linen
  • Cleans and maintains pool and pool deck throughout the shift. Pool area must be kept debris and litter free. Walk the premises to ensure the highest standards are being met
  • Completes and submits an incident report to address any issue or situation where a guest was removed for safety or behavior reasons
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
