About The Position

The Pool Attendant is responsible for providing guests with a comfortable and enjoyable experience at the pool area. This includes escorting guests to their seating, providing towels, and performing essential pool maintenance to ensure a clean and safe environment. The role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to perform physical tasks associated with pool upkeep.

Requirements

• Must be able to stand and walk throughout majority of shift.
• Must have excellent customer service skills.
• Must be able to lift and maneuver 25 pounds regularly.
• Must be able to safely and effectively use pool maintenance implements including but not limited to water chemical testers, pool chemicals, pool vacuum, skimming net, filters, etc.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.

Responsibilities

• Escort guests to seating area and provide towels.
• Provide pool maintenance such as checking chemicals, skimming, vacuuming, and documenting the same.
• Maneuver lounge chairs, towels, equipment, debris, and supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness of pool deck and adjoining areas.
• Perform swimming pool service and maintenance and maintain service records (e.g. test and maintain proper chemical levels of water, vacuum and use skimming net, clean filters and strainers, and scrub tile).
