This is a full-time trainee position at the Kenosha sleep center, working 3 nights per week from 7pm to 7am. The role involves developing skills in patient information collection and analysis, determining testing parameters under physician guidance, following sleep center protocols, and learning to score sleep/wake stages and generate reports under the supervision of a Polysomnographic Technician. The trainee will also learn about appropriate interventions, assist with various sleep-related procedures and titrations, and acquire polysomnographic data while monitoring tracing quality. Responsibilities include verifying data integrity, setting up monitoring equipment, maintaining equipment, and participating in quality assurance measures. The position requires the ability to provide age-appropriate patient care.
