Responsible for helping to maintain or restore the maximum functioning of the patient's cardiopulmonary system in accordance with physician orders and/or departmental protocols. Required to exercise initiative in developing ideas or in responding to or adjusting problem situations. Work processes and assignments for patients of all ages frequently require the incumbent to interpret and apply operating procedures, technical standards, and/or protocols to problems of varying degrees of complexity. Requirements

  • ASTEP Program or equivalent education/experience
  • National Registered Polysomnographic Technologist - Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists upon hire OR National Certified Polysomnographic Technician - Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists upon hire OR National Sleep Disorders Specialty - National Board for Respiratory Care upon hire
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
  • 2 years of recent experience in the field of Sleep Study Technology
