About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking an experienced Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) for a night shift assignment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in conducting sleep studies, patient assessment, and advanced sleep disorder testing in a clinical setting.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) certification
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience as an RPSGT performing sleep studies
- Hands-on experience with: CPAP/BiPAP titrations
- Hands-on experience with: Natus SleepWorks system
- Hands-on experience with: Pediatric patient population
- Ability to lift 75–100 lbs occasionally and carry up to 30 lbs
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and patient care skills
Responsibilities
- Perform and monitor overnight polysomnographic studies
- Review patient history, physician orders, and testing protocols
- Conduct patient interviews to assess sleep patterns, medications, and lifestyle factors
- Execute complex diagnostic and therapeutic procedures across diverse patient populations
- Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and equipment maintenance standards
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a safe and efficient manner
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold clinical standards
- Support team development by mentoring and assisting less experienced staff
- Participate in continuing education and competency development
- Perform additional duties as assigned
