About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and certified Polysomnographic Technologist II (RPSGT) to perform comprehensive sleep study testing, scoring, and data analysis for adult patient populations. In this role, you will manage patient intake, perform night/day sleep study recordings, execute PAP trials and mask fittings, stage and score diagnostic data for physician interpretation, and serve as a clinical mentor to junior technologists.

Requirements

• Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) designation
• Minimum of 1+ years of dedicated Polysomnography / Sleep Lab experience
• Prior travel work experience
• Hands-on experience with adult patient populations
• Experience with Epic Electronic Health Record system
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)
• Strong artifact recognition, precise scoring capabilities, excellent communication skills, and mentorship capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient admissions, review study procedures, fit PAP masks, and distribute/collect intake questionnaires.
• Perform polysomnographic recordings, ensuring high-quality, artifact-free data capture across all channels; initiate PAP titrations as indicated.
• Stage sleep architecture and score respiratory, cardiac, and movement events to prepare complete studies for physician interpretation.
• Set up, download, and compile diagnostic reports for Wrist Oximetry and Actigraphy studies.
• Provide pertinent clinical handoff details to oncoming shifts, deliver post-study discharge instructions, and educate patients and families.
• Clean and disinfect clinical equipment, perform equipment maintenance records, manage department triage (phone/email/fax), and maintain complete logs in the EHR system.
