Polymer Process Operator - Shift 4B

About The Position

The Polymer Process Production Operator makes raw material for manufacturing while maintaining a high level of discipline to meet production quantity demands. The role involves preparing and blending polymer materials, submitting samples for testing, molding and machining polymer resin, and packing and shipping work orders to vendors. Some travel between facilities is required. A $500 sign-on bonus is available to eligible new employees upon completion of 90 days of employment.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Strong knowledge of relevant machinery, tooling, measuring and gauging equipment, and proper handling methods in assigned areas.
Thorough understanding of production processes in the assigned area.
Knowledge of machinery setup, blueprints, routers, and setup files.
Adequate knowledge of parts needed to produce quality assemblies that meet functional and cosmetic requirements.
Ability to work effectively with production employees, management, and technical professionals.
Ability to meet the technical and physical requirements of the primary job function, including lifting 70 pounds.
Strong verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work flexible hours as required by production schedules.
Ability to perform at a high level of quality and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
