About The Position

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Polygraph Examiner to join our team! In this role you will get to Conduct polygraph examinations (counterintelligence scope polygraph (CSP) or expanded screening scope (ESS)) in accordance with National Center for Credibility Assessment (NCCA) standards.

Requirements

  • Active Top Secret/SCI.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a CI POLY.
  • Bachelor’s degree and 11 years of previous Polygraph Examiner experience.
  • Demonstrated experience conducting a variety of NCCA-approved polygraph examination formats and testing methodologies.
  • Proven ability to assess and determine an examinee's suitability for polygraph testing.
  • Experience developing and drafting NCCA-compliant examination questions.
  • Strong interviewing skills, including the ability to conduct detailed and comprehensive subject interviews.
  • Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret physiological data obtained during polygraph examinations.
  • Experience rendering and documenting definitive examination outcomes in accordance with established standards.
  • Demonstrated experience preparing clear, concise, and fact-based reports that comply with prescribed policies and procedures.
  • An active Top Secret security clearance is required to apply, however, the selected candidate must be able to obtain a Top Secret SCI clearance prior to the start date.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct Counterintelligence Scope Polygraph (CSP), Expanded Scope Polygraph (ESP), and Specific Issue Polygraph (SIP) examinations in accordance with National Center for Credibility Assessment (NCCA) standards.
  • Comply with all Quality Control (QC) guidance and promptly report any concerns or issues to QC personnel.
  • Accurately document examination results and admissions and maintain records within the Polygraph Branch's official system of record.
  • Conduct up to two examination sessions per scheduled workday unless otherwise directed by QC or management.Each CSP, ESP, or SIP examination is considered one session. Every effort will be made to backfill canceled appointments and no-shows.
  • Maintain a current NCCA Federal Polygraph Certification.
  • Complete a minimum of 40 hours of annual continuing education to maintain polygraph certification requirements.
