About The Position

ServiTech is hiring Seasonal Pollination Inspectors for temporary positions lasting 4-6 weeks, starting around July 4th. The role offers $20.00 per hour with overtime opportunities and involves hands-on work supporting seed corn production outdoors as part of the ServiTech team. ServiTech, Inc., established in 1975, leverages current technologies, research, and science to provide productive and profitable recommendations to growers. The company operates three laboratory facilities that support agronomic services to measure fertility, tailor field inputs, and increase yields. ServiTech is committed to actively pursuing new technologies to ensure its recommendations and services enhance farming operations to be more productive, efficient, and sustainable, addressing the growing global need for efficient food production.

Requirements

18 years of age or older
Self-starter with strong work ethic
Valid driver's license with a safe driving record
Reliable personal vehicle (mileage reimbursement provided for business use)
Enjoys outdoor work (able to work in all weather conditions)
Weekend availability required (overtime opportunities available)
Proficient with iPad and/or iPhone use (or ability to quickly learn)
Must successfully complete a pre-employment criminal background check (with motor vehicle record check), and a pre-employment drug screen

Responsibilities

Work independently in seed corn fields to gather quality data
Ensure data accuracy and integrity using field software
Follow inspection and data collection protocols
Daily driving of personal vehicle to various farms across the assigned territory
Read and properly navigate field maps
Assist with other field activities as needed
