About The Position

Pivot seeks a Political Data Coordinator to join our team ahead of the 2026 election cycle. This is a fully remote position in the Targeting & Analytics Department. Candidates must be available to work east coast hours. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail, experience managing deadlines in a fast-paced environment, a passion for data driven strategy, and a commitment to bringing about real Democratic victories across the US. Key responsibilities include managing team workflow and keeping projects moving in a timely manner. Prior experience with project management is a plus. The Political Data Coordinator reports to Logan Vidal, Vice President of Targeting & Analytics. This is a full-time, temporary position through Election Day 2026 with competitive salary and excellent benefits. The nature of our business requires long hours during the election cycle, and we expect all staff to be flexible in this area. Weekend and evening work will be required. However, Pivot works to ensure all staff maintain a healthy work/life balance.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills.
  • Experience with a programing language, such as C++, Python, R, SQL, SPSS or Stata.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Flexible and can quickly adapt to fit team needs.
  • Experience with political data or other data which are imperfect and require cleaning and management.
  • Commitment to racial equity, social justice, and democratic causes.
  • Proficiency in Excel with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work nights and weekends as needed. 60 hour+ weeks can be expected during busy periods.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous project management experience.
  • Availability to work east coast hours.
  • Political experience is a plus, but not a requirement for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and track work within Pivot’s Targeting Department and across Client Services teams.
  • Finalize process of producing data files ready for printers, including running quality control protocols, adding tracking, and setting up informed delivery campaigns
  • Run and monitor reports of tracking of mail delivery and mail response programs
  • Run basic queries in voter file databases
  • Monitor projects and anticipate next steps in workflow.
  • Communicate regularly with other teams and stakeholders to support an ever-changing workload.
  • Support other members of the Targeting Department to complete projects as needed.
