About The Position

The Polisher ensures that all glassware, silverware, and tableware used in the dining area are spotless, polished, and ready for service. The role supports the front-of-house team by maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation that reflect the restaurant’s commitment to excellence.

Requirements

• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable and punctual, with the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong team player with good communication skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to lift and carry trays of glassware and dishes weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Carefully polish and inspect cutlery, glassware, and chinaware to ensure they are spotless and streak-free.
• Handle delicate items carefully to avoid breakage or damage.
• Organize and store polished items in designated areas for easy access by service staff.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in polishing and storage areas.
• Follow proper hygiene and sanitation standards.
• Assist in setting up and breaking down service areas when needed.
• Promptly communicate shortages or breakages to supervisors.
• Support other back-of-house duties as assigned.
