Requirements

Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar stone fabrication/polishing role
Hands-on experience polishing natural stone and engineered quartz
Experience using grinders and polishers
Ability to read and understand measurements
Ability to safely operate hand and power tools
Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Dependable, hardworking, motivated, and task-oriented
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Nice To Haves

Experience with woodworking tools such as table saws and chop saws is a plus.

Responsibilities

Polish, grind, sand, and finish natural stone and engineered quartz
Glue and miter countertop pieces together
File and shape grooved, contoured, and irregular stone surfaces to templates, layouts, and specifications
Inspect and correct surface defects to ensure a quality finished product
Load, unload, position, and adjust materials using hand tools and mechanical lifting equipment
Operate grinders, polishers, table saws, chop saws, and other power tools
Work from measurements, templates, layouts, and blueprints
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Perform other duties as assigned
