Our Personal Lines Policy Specialist reviews data and correspondence for new submissions and existing policies by verifying information is accurate and complete. Processes changes and updates to the policy according to company policies and procedures. Consistently meets expectations for quality, accuracy, and timeliness. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Proficiency in Microsoft suite applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Nice To Haves

  • 3 months to 1 year of customer service experience
  • Property/casualty insurance background and jewelry industry experience

Responsibilities

  • Reviews and analyzes work related to Personal Lines policies through various channels that includes USPS, e-mail, fax, Lockbox exceptions, and others.
  • Verifies policyholder information is complete and criteria are met for processing.
  • Compares manual-entry and pre-filled data with source documents to eliminate errors.
  • Correspond with policyholders and/or jewelers via omnichannel (telephone, email, chat and SMS) to obtain information or inform them of policy status or changes.
  • Utilize the Truepic photo verification platform when requesting additional information from policyholders.
  • Staying updated with knowledge of all required policies and procedures, systems, and services.
  • Excels in accuracy and quality and views these skills as critical to the success of ongoing relationships with our customers and coworkers.
  • Embraces change, leads by example, maintains a positive work environment and ongoing learning culture.
