About The Position

The Policy Services Representative reviews, processes, and issues auto and property insurance policies and endorsements with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance. This role accesses multiple software applications to verify premiums, coverages, and forms, and ensures all documentation is complete and correct before policies are issued. The position offers exposure to commercial auto and property insurance, collaboration with underwriting teams, and a clear pathway for growth within a stable, development-focused organization.

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot patterns, numerical discrepancies, and grammatical errors.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal micromanagement after training while maintaining accountability and reliability.
  • Basic math skills, including comfort with premiums, decimals, and calculations of additional and return premiums.
  • Ability and willingness to learn new systems, processes, and insurance concepts quickly.
  • Self-motivation, initiative, and the capacity to consistently meet deadlines.
  • Commitment to compliance and accuracy, ensuring all documentation meets internal standards and state requirements.
  • Comfort with back-office work that involves detailed review and processing rather than frequent phone-based customer contact.
  • Willingness to complete basic math and proofreading assessments as part of the hiring process.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; open to recent graduates from any major.
  • Consideration for candidates with approximately 2–3 years of experience who have some college and an interest in completing their degree.
