Groundwork Collaborative is seeking a paid policy intern for fall 2026 (September – December) to gain hands-on experience with a dynamic policy, research, and advocacy team working to advance progressive economic policies. Groundwork Collaborative, launched in 2018, is driven by the idea that 'We Are The Economy' and strives for progressive economic policy and narrative change that builds accountable public power, breaks up concentrations of private power, and centers those left out of prosperity. The organization uses a unique structure combining strategic communications, think tank functions, and issue advocacy to drive narrative and policy change. They work across media, policymakers, economic experts, and grasstops leaders, using targeted policy campaigns and research to advance an inclusive economic worldview. Groundwork Collaborative values savvy, strategic thinkers who can spot opportunities, influence national economic policy debates, identify new audiences, and support partners' work. They are fearless in narrative change, focusing on future popular economic messages rather than current poll-tested ones.
